The Riverwood Youth Group is made up of 20+ youth who range in ages from the 6th-12th grade.  Our goal is to follow Christ and the example he set for us.  We are committed to fulfilling this through the areas of Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Service, and Out Reach.  We tried to make these words a little easier to understand and included the ideas for what they represent in our mission statement on the right-hand side of this page.  We found the core of these teachings in Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:19-20.  They help us identify who we are and what direction we need to go.  As you read through the mission statement, see if you can determine which phrases in the mission statement coincide with the 5 words used above.     

Our Regular Activities are as follows:

    Bible Class - Sunday morning, 10:15 am

                        Wednesday evening, 7 pm

    Devotionals - The 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings of each month  

                         beginning at 5:45 pm (through 7:30 pm)

    MayDay/Sweet Fellowship - generally the 3rd Wednesday afternoon

                      of each month beginning at 3:30 pm (it changes during the summer)

    Girls Night Out - Every other month on a Friday evening (during the school year)

    Dudes Night Out - Every other month on a Friday evening (during the school year)

    Retreats - Spring Retreat, Jr. High Fall Retreat, and 

                    Winter Ski Retreat
